These Three Men Got Arrested For Allegedly Gang-Raping A Woman Live On Facebook! HORRIBLE!

Three men were arrested by Swedish authorities after allegedly raping a woman while it was livestreaming on Facebook.

They were charged with aggravated rape when they were caught sexually assaulting a woman inside an apartment located in Uppsala, a city about 50 miles north of the countrys capital of Stockholm on the night of January 21st.

Some of the live streams witnesses vowed that they saw the trio, who seemingly looked Middle Eastern, tear the woman's clothes off and mount her. One of them was armed with a gun.

Police suspect that the men were aged between 18 and 24 but have yet to confirm their nationalities.

A concerned woman who watched the broadcast called the Uppsala County police at 8:24 in the morning to report the crime.

An officer barged into the unit and cuffed the suspects.

"This rape was broadcast live on a Facebook group and numerous people have been in touch regarding seeing this broadcast," authorities said in a statement.

"The police went to said apartment, and in the apartment were three men and a woman. The three men were detained on the spot and then arrested by prosecutors at 2:30pm on Sunday." The statement added.

Magnus Berggren, the deputy chief prosecutor in Uppsala, gave CNN some details regarding their investigation.

The female victim in the video is presumably aged 31 and appeared intoxicated, meaning she was half-conscious of what happened.

Since the video was already deleted by Facebook, Breggen appealed for anyone who has it to disclose the material to the police for further inspection.

He also contacted Facebook at their United States headquarters regarding the matter.

"This is a hideous crime and we do not tolerate this kind of content on Facebook," said a Facebook in a statement made to CNN. "We support local law enforcement who make data requests related to criminal investigations, particularly when it comes to the safety of young people. We respond to valid requests relating to criminal cases."

There were also reports saying that the trio posted a follow-up video with the victim denying that they raped her but most believe that it was staged and that the rape was real.
